The shop sits inside The Olde Bowl bowling center on the south end of Taylorville. Park out front, walk in the door — Solid 9 is the first thing you see, immediately on your left. You can't miss the red signage.
The shop is closed for walk-ins through the summer — every visit is by appointment so you get one-on-one time with Rick or Eric. Call, text, or email to book; we'll work around your schedule and confirm the same day. Regular evening & Saturday hours resume after Labor Day.
We don't process payments online. Call to reserve any ball, shoe or bag — we'll confirm price, weight, color and finish, then take payment in person or by phone.
Plan on 60–90 minutes from sit-down to throwing it. We schedule appointments to make sure your fitting isn't rushed.
Absolutely. Bring it in. Drilling fee is $50 with fitting included — same as our own balls.
Sometimes — depends on the ball. Call Rick with the make & model and he'll tell you what we can do.
Bring it back. Re-shaping inserts and minor adjustments are always free on balls drilled at Solid 9.
Walk-ins are welcome during shop hours, but a quick call ahead means Rick can have the bench clear and your fitting ready — especially during summer hours, which run by appointment.
